6 Questions with the VP of Channels at Intacct
Thanks to Channelnomics, who recently got a chance to speak with Taylor as part of their Vendor Q&A series, we would like to share with you his insight for channel partners and cloud buyers.
Describe Intacct in 10 words or less
The leading cloud financial application company focused on SMB market.
How does Intacct’s channel program differ from the competition?
Intacct has a Channel 3.0 philosophy – We have a limited number of elite partners, enforced deal registration, guaranteed margin for the life of the partner’s customer, and programs designed by partners, for partners.
Why should solution providers partner with you?
Solution providers choose to partner with Intacct because we are true advocates for them. Our philosophy is simple – if our partners make money and renew their customers then Intacct is making good on our promise.

What are the top three things any vendor should offer its partners?
The top three things a vendor must offer its partners is:
- A competitive product
- Compelling partner economics
- Unparalleled partner support
Most IT vendors still need to streamline and simplify their partner messaging. Discuss.
Yes – vendors bombard their partners with messages, to do’s, etc. Vendors need to communicate in more detail and on fewer topics. Also, vendors need to be much clearer on all partner expectations.
How do you think the IT channel will have changed over the next decade and are you as a vendor prepared for that change?
Intacct is already leading the way with our Channel 3.0 philosophy – a reaction to staid, one-sided partner programs of the past. We will continue to innovate with our offerings while holding partners accountable.
